'A Gypsy Life For Me' airs featuring performance coach, Glenn Kinsey

19 Jun 2013

'A Gypsy Life For Me' featuring Glenn Kinsey providing 'boot camp' training is currently airing on Sky TV.

As resident performance coach, he's seen coaching the finalists for "Gypsy and Traveller Face of the Year 2012" before they take to the stage at The Tabernacle in London's Notting Hill (see highlights from the show below).

Boot Camp

At the finalists' boot camp, they receive a combination of TV, media, presentation and performance skills training.

Glenn is seen coaching an eclectic bunch including a political lobbyist, a gypsy poet, a women's rights campaigner, a gypsy history expert, a Romany horse trainer, a fashion presenter, budding gypsy-twin film stars and an Irish stand-up comic! He also correctly predicts the winner.

The eight-part series sees contestants from across the UK and Ireland compete to take part and become the new face of the travelling community.

Star-studded final

The show culminates in a star-studded final where the eight finalists are judged by a celebrity panel including recording and TV star, David Essex.

Each finalist took to the stage to appeal directly to the audience and judges as well as show off their own particular talent. The winners - political lobbyist and gypsy spokesperson, Billy Welch along with fashion presenter, Georgina Cannon - received a cash prize and were signed up by a celebrity agent.
